A few things had to go right in order for us to meet. Melissa took a chance when one of her best friend’s mothers said she might know a guy for her. Daniel said yes when his mom asked if he would be interested in going on a blind date with his niece and nephews former kindergarten teacher. Both of these things were out of the ordinary, and while we still aren’t 100% sure how many people were involved in the setup, we both decided to give it a chance.

Our first “date” was a phone call, and even though Daniel messed up the timing, we both saw that there was potential for something special. Almost a year and a half later, we still get that feeling every day. From family time to vacations, spending time with friends to sitting on the couch watching Bravo, every day brings laughter, happiness, and joy — and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us.
